Event Description
Boxerwood opens our summer concert series with a crowd favorite, Shester, Datz, and Newhall Bluegrass Trio. They play an entertaining mix of traditional, contemporary, and progressive Bluegrass with a high lonesome three-part harmony that will have your toes tapping and put a smile on your face. Blake Shester on banjo, Burr Datz on guitar, and Dan Newhall on bass have been performing together since 2011. They are delighted to again be a part of the Boxerwood music lineup.
Admission for Music in the Garden is free for current Boxerwood members and children under 18. All others is $5 per person. This is a family friendly event. Bring your own chairs or blanket.
There will be a food truck on site for all concerts. Picnics are also welcome.
Parking is at the end of Munger Lane, off Ross Road. Boxerwood's main address is 963 Ross Road, but please park in the field for music events. Handicapped parking is available.
