Unique Endangered Equines Weekend in Virginia
Celebrating 20 years of Equine Conservation!
The conservation nonprofit Equus Survival Trust is hosting its 3rd Festivale of Endangered Equines, a 4-day unique endangered breeds educational event and competition, June 27th-30th at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VIRGINIA
SATURDAY, June 29th is general public free admission day and includes Festivale activities that include the Rare-Steeds™ Breed Pavilion, demos, youth activities (RSVP for youth), and breed booths and some very unusual competition, the Stewardship Awards of North America (SANA) with a full array of classes that promise to be educational as well as competitive.
The Festivale will focus on raising public awareness and encourage networking among breeders and their associations. The exhibition’s theme, “Celebrate the Differences” is designed to encourage SATURDAY visitors and participants to explore and cherish the differences preserved in these endangered historical breeds.
The Equus Survival Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is the only conservation organization worldwide currently specializing in equines.
