Tish Vest

My name is Tish Vest. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, and I have been obsessed with horses since I was a small child. I have lived in Rockbridge County for the last 20 years. I moved here shortly after I visited friends and fell in love with the area. I have four children, ranging in age from 9 to 22.

I have been training horses and teaching riding lessons for the last 30 years. While we enjoy competing in horse shows, I love introducing people to the joy of riding and sharing my passion for horses the most. There are so many wonderful places to ride around Rockbridge County that is difficult to choose a favorite. I enjoy riding in the Natural Bridge area the most, and I appreciate all of the lovely terrain and amazing wildlife. We see lots of deer, wild turkey, and even an occasional bear! I believe that everything is a little more beautiful from the back of a horse, and I enjoy helping others appreciate this.
